What’s behind it?
Key factor for deep and significant change is our ability to learn and see events in a new light and from a new perspective. This in turn leads to more conscious and better decisions, in everyday moments as well as in serious life decisions.
In the Yogasutras of Patanjali, the foundation of yogic philosophy, there are already explanations about our clouded perception, which results in blatant misinterpretations. These misinterpretations are the basis of many decisions that can have painful consequences.
Reality is always the product of our perception.
Perception, in turn, is determined by our experiences.
And our experiences determine what we perceive.
The interplay of Karam Kriya, the powerful knowledge of Kundalini Yoga, and the neuroscientific approach of NeuroMeditation allow you to reflect and adapt your patterns of thinking and behavior to the reality of the now.
As needed, consultations are complemented by further techniques of
- Milton H. Erickson, Roy Hunter, and Bruce Eimer,
- the timeline technique and
- Dr. Hans Carl Leuner’s catathymic imagery experience.
What’s behind it?
All our feelings, passions and actions are determined by hormones. The same applies to our health, physical and mental condition.
You’re not a born buzzkill or a born quitter:
We, you are your biochemistry.
Our ability to love, understand, accept, and even our mood, our hunger, thirst, desire, ability to concentrate, our ability to reproduce, our resilience, our way of living relationships, our sexual potency, all are connected to our endocrine glands and their function.
Constant stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, wrong lifestyle, menopause and andropause are some of the main causes of loss of hormonal balance.
A consultation clarifies your life context and hormonal balance. You will receive concrete suggestions for small changes with a big impact.

Kundalini Yoga has its roots in ancient wisdom that has been passed down orally and as direct experience for thousands of years. It supports the awakening of inner intelligence for health, happiness and spiritual vitality.
Kundalini Yoga offers a holistic technique that can be used by people of all faiths and from all walks of life. Unlike renunciatory yoga traditions, Kundalini Yoga offers a path for people who are in the midst of life: with family, social responsibilities, and worldly concerns.
Kundalini Yoga is known for its transformative effect. It enhances physical strength and endurance and improves cognitive function, emotional fitness and spiritual connection. Many people describe the experience as exhilarating, euphoric and powerful. It also provides the generally known positive effects:
Increased flexibility, expanded lung capacity, a strong inner core and stress reduction.
Here are 10 more significant – and perhaps unexpected – benefits of Kundalini Yoga:
1. Inner Guidance
Kundalini Yoga develops the power of the intuitive mind. Your intuition is the voice of your own inner navigation system. Every person has an inner voice at their disposal, and can choose to listen to it and live with its support. When you clear your subconscious mind and learn to listen through deep meditation, when your thoughts and feelings resonate with the soul, you can feel the guidance of intuition that is always present.
As you develop your inner guidance system, you can use it as a touchstone when faced with the decisions, questions, and choices that life presents you with.
2. Sacred Sound
Kundalini Yoga is known for the sacred chant music that is an essential part of the practice. Sacred Sound or Naad Yoga is based on the experience of how sound vibrations affect the body, mind and spirit through the movement of the tongue, mouth and the changes of chemicals in the brain.
When we consciously regulate the sounds we create through the use of mantra, breath and rhythm, we can achieve profound effects on our health and well-being, not to mention the pure joy we experience when we sing from the heart and soul.
3. The Golden Chain
Kundalini Yoga has been practiced for a very long time and passed down from teacher to student. When you chant Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo at the beginning of a Kundalini Yoga class, you are connecting with the tradition of spiritual masters who have gone before you.
You call upon this lineage and your inner teacher for guidance, protection and wisdom. This tradition is called the Golden Chain. It opens access to spiritual awareness by inviting us to set aside our limiting views and assumptions so that we can experience and share that which is pure, unadulterated, and effective.
4. Transform Karma to Dharma
The practice of Kundalini Yoga takes you out of the cycle of karma. Your positive intention to grow and bring yourself through Kundalini Kriyas (specific sequence of asanas) burns karma. The more you practice, the more present, aware and intuitive you become. Walk the path of Dharma (conscious living) and do not live in reaction to your karma (the consequences of past actions).
5. Protection from Negativity
Kundalini Yoga strengthens and expands your electromagnetic field, or aura – the energy field that surrounds you and makes you aware of positive and negative influences in your environment. A weak aura can allow negative influences to pass through and even attract them. A large, strong, radiant aura can protect you from negativity and center you in the light of your true identity.
6. Emotional Balance and Neutral Mind
Kundalini Yoga strengthens the nervous system, balances the hormonal system, purifies the blood and clears subconscious thought patterns. This gives you more awareness and the ability to decide how to react to your thoughts and feelings. Thanks to practice, you can train your mind and body not to react emotionally – not by suppressing feelings, but by developing a buffer zone, a time and space where you can process and consciously choose your reactions.
Develop the neutral mind, the place where the positive and the negative are evaluated in a brief moment, and you can act from that state of detachment, compassion, and neutrality.
Act, don’t react.
7. Deep Relaxation that Heals
Kundalini Yoga strengthens and balances the nervous system. When your nervous system is weak, you are prone to unhealthy reactions to stress. During a Kundalini Yoga Kriya and the deep relaxation that follows, all the nerve endings in the body are brought up to speed. You will experience a deep, rejuvenating state of total relaxation where healing can take place. Regular practice will give you extra stamina and resilience to the stresses of everyday life.
8. The Kundalini Yoga Lifestyle
Because Kundalini Yoga is specifically designed for people who have a job, a family and a busy life, it works quickly, effectively and covers a wide range of lifestyle information.
You can attend a weekly yoga class and take away the positive effects, and you can dive deep into a whole host of proven yogic teachings on body care, nutrition, numerology, child rearing, relationships, communication, selfless service, and more.
9. Community Connection
Being with like-minded people is a powerful support in the quest for spiritual growth and higher consciousness. Kundalini Yoga centers and studios welcome yoga students and teachers to create community, celebrate special occasions with group meditations, concerts, shared meals and community service projects.
As you make positive changes in your life, the connection with and support of a spiritual family is a priceless gift.
10. Befriend Your Soul and Manifest Your Destiny
Kundalini Yoga gives you the experience of who you are when the ego’s influence is reduced. It allows you to feel and know the depth of your soul. Begin to access your truth and make a strong connection to your soul and its work in this life.
Kundalini Yoga is an experience of union of the finite Self with the infinite Self. When you have had this experience, you no longer need to look for security outside yourself. Your security comes from knowing who you are in relationship to the universe. You know who you are and you can be yourself. You can leave behind the pain of past hurts and manifest your soul’s destiny.
Level 1, Level 2 and the 21 Stages of Meditation
internationally certified by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI)
Teacher for the Aquarian Age
With the pressures and challenges of today’s world, people need practices and the right information to stay stable and healthy. Kundalini Yoga is a powerful way to achieve this:
It brings energy and balance to your life.
During the training, you will learn the relevant tools in a comprehensive, hands-on way.
But much more important:
You find your personal way to integrate them into your life!
With your new experiences and knowledge, by the end of the course you will be able to guide and help others on their journey.
The path to the Teacher of the Aquarian Age is described in three stages.
- Level 1 is a comprehensive yoga training where you learn the basics of Kundalini Yoga.
You embody the identity of an instructor. - Level 2 consists of five different modules that support the transformation experience.
The instructor develops into a true practitioner of Kundalini Yoga. - Finally, the 21 Stages of Meditation are an in-depth journey into the depths of the inner self. Step by step we raise the individual consciousness to connect it with the universal consciousness.
The 21 Stages of Meditation are part of the Level 3 training program and promote self-realization through deep meditation, selfless service, and spiritual community.
The solid foundation allows you to transform, all the way to mastery.
Karam Kriya, the science of applied numerology, helps coping with change. Applying universal information we know as numbers allows for a personal, professional and spiritual check. Karam Kriya unfolds as a conversation that supports the soul.
Karam = structures that take us through time, but with no other result than repetition.
Kriya = The completion of these structures and the creation of dharmic structures. Dharmic structures carry the consciousness. They use the time to go beyond the time.
“If we know the nature of time and the tension it brings to our lives, we can rise to it.”
________Shiv Charan Singh
Karam Kriya is a unique approach to using the time we have been given wisely, expanding our possibilities, and realizing our full potential. It is an ongoing practice of redesigning our physical and mental space to achieve this goal. This negotiation always takes place in relation to other people.
In counseling, Karam Kriya is an engagement in relation to change that encourages the soul to unfold itself on its journey through time and space. Karam Kriya calls for awareness and recognition of opportunities and choices. The goal is to dissolve karma and give life to Dharma.
Karam Kriya is inspired by Kundalini Yoga and was further developed by Shiv Charan Singh. Based on archetypal qualities and dynamics represented in numbers, Karam Kriya provides an interactive diagnostic tool for change. The date of birth, for example, provides information about basic life patterns.
Karam Kriya is an approach to understanding the influence of words and actions in your life, and through this process of learning, making your own story transparent.
Once the past becomes transparent, it is easier to initiate the necessary changes in thinking, beliefs, and actions so that you can turn your history into a vehicle to guide you to your destiny.
Karam Kriya – Become what you are
Change requires conscious communication.
In a counseling session, it is the key component that shows ways to your basic skills and qualities. Knowing one’s potential, in turn, allows one to leave behind limiting habits and thought patterns.
Besides the communication itself, the date of birth is a window to upcoming change, it is a window to one’s calling as well as to one’s karma.
Sometimes we find ourselves in structures that provide security – but it is not fundamental, satisfying security.
This security is the result of the unconscious repetition of familiar structures: family patterns, social imprints, cultural imprints. But we are evolving, the world is evolving. As soon as we get older and more mature, the old structures no longer correspond to the conditions of life.
They turn into a prison of false security.
Karam Kriya shifts the seemingly immovable of these circumstances and structures, giving the power to change circumstances, seek support, and reasonably work through restrictive interpretations of these circumstances.
It is a soul-friendly conversation in which ways are revealed to act in such a way that the inner intention is fulfilled. Karam Kriya describes the process of moving from a habitual life to a life of awareness, in which the right habits serve the unfolding of the true Self.
Kundalini Yoga has its roots in ancient wisdom passed down through thousands of years of oral and indirect experience. It supports the awakening of inner intelligence for health, happiness and spiritual vitality.
Kundalini Yoga is known for its transformative effects. It enhances physical strength and endurance and improves cognitive function, emotional fitness and spiritual connection. Many people describe the experience as exhilarating, euphoric and powerful.
For whom is it suitable?
Kundalini Yoga offers a holistic technique that can be used by people of all faiths and from all walks of life. Unlike renunciatory yoga traditions, Kundalini Yoga offers a path for people who are in the midst of life: with family, social responsibilities, and worldly concerns.
The practice
This practice focuses on the movement and transformation of energy. There is no single practice or sequence. Instead, the practice focuses on kriyas, each of which is a specific sequence of yogic techniques and meditations to produce a specific result in consciousness. This can be something very concrete (like better digestion) or something more subtle (like an open heart). Each Kriya (which means “action” in Sanskrit) includes detailed instructions and usually includes most of the following techniques:
- Asana: postures
- Mudras: hand postures
- Pranayama: breathing techniques
- Mantras: intentional, repeated sounds
- Bandhas: muscular contraction of a specific area of the body
- Drishti: Directing of the eye focus
- Shivasana: relaxation at the end of the exercise
Kriyas are often composed of several components and become a complete action for a specific purpose when practiced in the given order.
The technique
Kundalini Yoga is known to support the change of self-limiting habits.
- It is a system of transformation designed to release blockages in the reserves of unused energy within us.
- It is designed to balance the hormonal system and revitalize the nervous system.
- It works to build, clear and balance the subtle systems of the nadis (energy channels) and the chakras.
- It includes hydrotherapy, breathing exercises and other best practices for optimal health and functioning.
When the energy moves freely through the energy channels and chakras, it stimulates the mental, physical and spiritual health of the person. A clarity emerges that connects perception, thinking and intuition.
Improved brain performance through meditation
NeuroMeditation is based on understanding and optimizing brain function. NeuroMeditation creates the conditions for an expanded perception, whereby improvements in life can be initiated and sustainably established. A key aspect of this involves changes in thinking and behavior patterns.
NeuroMeditation provides the basic knowledge about the tasks and functions of the brain, which is the central control center for life, survival and experience. The more flexible the brain can adapt to rapidly changing external conditions, the faster it interprets stimuli correctly, the healthier (mentally, emotionally and physically) we are.
The theoretical aspects are complemented by specific meditations and breathing techniques that specifically support and improve the functioning of the brain. This refines perception, providing valuable tools to help make better decisions: both in everyday moments and in important life decisions.
What drives and motivates my teaching is my experience that we can evolve as human beings. Sometimes it is not easy to get oneself out the curds of bad habits that have become dear to one’s heart, but in every life there is the possibility of making one or another decision differently and thus possibly bringing about a great change.
In these possibilities of decision there comes a bit of freedom. And the most powerful tool for achieving freedom is:
Ownership.
Whatever we do has consequences.
Whatever we don’t do also has consequences.
Being able to act means being able to decide.
Being capable of action means having the energy to act and staying on task.
Being able to act requires alignment with the True Self.
Decision
We often perceive boundaries that are set by our environment, but which actually exist only in our minds.
This illusion of borders has fatal consequences:
Instead of moving and acting on our values to achieve our goal (or at least taking steps in that direction), we become passive.
A vicious circle begins.
The experience of imagined limits makes us smaller and smaller, and most of the time we make sure to find evidence of these limits around us. And from the moment we look for something, we experience the consequences of our “free-roaming” perception:
Have you ever wanted to buy a car?
Imagine you are interested in a special model, let’s say the new electric VW Golf. Suddenly you’ll see many, many electric VW Golfs on the road!
But..: There are just as many as before.
You experience a change in your perception, your perception sharpens your awareness.
Your interest directs your consciousness.
So as we search for the evidence of our limits, we can be sure to find it.
But back to the limits in the head.
We have the feeling of being limited and therefore we do not act as we could.
This is the first step in the vicious circle.
Passivity creates an increasing distance from our inner goals, the desires of our true self, our destiny. Added to this is the working climate of a performance-oriented society, in which even a temporary break is not accepted.
We often compensate with external goals, for example, a career vision that drives us but leaves us empty and burnt out after a certain time.
The energy of life flows in a direction where we get our salary in exchange, but no deep satisfaction.
After the limits in our head, the feeling of passivity sets in, nourished by an inner emptiness and lack of energy.
In the second step of the vicious circle, we begin to compare. We look outward and see the successful and satisfied.
In this comparison, we draw the short straw. We condemn ourselves for failure and lose sight of our inner goals.
The game of shame and guilt begins.
We are ashamed that we are so small, so incapable of getting going, of not doing what would move us forward. Our self-worth dwindles and we feel incapable. All the evidence we have found in the outside world tells of a victim role: We see ourselves as victims of circumstances, preferably of past circumstances. So we blame our parents, our childhood experiences, the education system, work. Our partner, the colleagues, our teachers.
Aaah, whole life!
The list is endless and can be extended at will.
What we lose as we plummet into our self-made hell is the freedom to choose.
We no longer perceive that we have the option to say “no” at any point in time. Each decision can be a different one.
It is not only fear, uncertainty and doubt that make this change difficult. We instinctively know the risks that this self-responsibility entails:
When I decide, when I take the reins of my life, I have no one else to blame but myself.
A powerful counter to change is the “secondary disease gain” we lose when we stop our game of shame and guilt. That is, we would have to accept the loss of attention, care, comfort, encouragement, positivity and support. The liberation from the victim role of circumstances also makes us miss the encouragement, the regrets of others, finally the energy that they provide us by listening to us.
Energy
Freedom begins with a NO.
Defining our availability is critical to defining our energy losses.
- All the things we do, all the things we feel we have to do – do we really have to?
- Have we consciously or unconsciously chosen to be available to them?
- Where do previous agreements hide that need to be renegotiated?
- Where can we identify patterns that were useful in the past but are no longer so in the present?
A simple formula:
The less I am available, the more often I say no and thus set healthy boundaries, the more energy is available.
Every no to the outside is a yes to your self.
This does not mean suddenly abandoning all tacit or expressed commitments. Of course, the dog still has to eat and walk, not to mention the obligations to children and family.
But our comfort often makes us pause until our hats burst and pent-up, old anger breaks out, out of proportion to an everyday event.
Saying no means being clear about your own needs.
Saying no means questioning commitments and roles.
Saying no means renegotiating agreements and cherished habits.
Alignment
What principles do you base your decisions on?
What are the values and virtues that align your actions with your path that will define your future?
We may have a hazy idea of our destiny, we may have dreams of our future, we may even have plans – but have we anchored principles that guide our actions, our words, our thoughts to our best selves?
Acknowledging, accepting, agreeing and finally restoring our creative power is the prerequisite to being your best Self.
(And no, by creative power I don’t mean an occasional break from the mundane with a hobby: Creative power is the fuel of the daily necessary decision to act aligned with your values).
That is the purpose of my workshops, my trainings.
That is the motivation that drives me when I teach:
Understanding that each breath is the opportunity to think, speak, act aligned with the true Self, the Sat-Nām identity.
Prāna, the life force, can be dedicated to discovering what is really inside you.
Be open to surprises along the way – it might be something different than what you imagined.
This alignment with the divine spark within us, the Higher Self, humanizes the animal within and allows the unfolding of our human potential.
It is the ascent from false entanglements to the wide, bright heights of freedom, where the world is no longer the reference of action, but universal values guide thought and action.
Far beyond techniques, tools, plans, policies and strategies, we can find the freedom of self-responsibility and self-initiation: Independent, free and at the same time responsible for the people around us, the world.
A world in which we manifest this freedom is my vision.
Touching people’s hearts with this message and sharing the yogic tools of growth and personal development is my objective.
I accompany individuals and groups with Kundalini Yoga, meditation, relaxation and counseling on the path to the best Self.
We are what we do over and over again.
Excellence is not an action, it is a habit.
________Aristoteles
How each person defines the best Self is individual.
Also how exactly the path will look like, is different and always the decision of the individual. But true knowledge and awareness of the world around us can only be achieved through reflection and understanding of our own thoughts, feelings and actions.
Knowledge always begins with self-knowledge.
The following guidelines help on the path to knowledge:
- Fate is not something to which one is condemned.
This is because karma means that all actions have consequences. We are responsible ourselves – even for the actions we refrain from. - With conscious communication, misunderstandings can be clarified, harm and pain can be avoided.
- Discernment and the power of No allow to make the right decisions.
Furthermore, the universal teachings of yoga and meditation as well as the findings of neuroscience support and enrich. The many helpful tools and techniques enable change and growth on your journey of self-knowledge and self-realization.
